Wildrose leader Brian Jean brings his campaign to Grande Prairie

Alberta Wildrose Party Leader Brian Jean made a pit stop in Grande Prairie on his northern bound campaign trail this morning.

Jean says he is open to the wishes of Albertans, even if that doesn’t mean being elected into the role of governing party.

“Ultimately it’s their decision what they want to have happen in Alberta and if they want us to be a strong opposition or in government or whatever they want, I respect that. What we do know is that whoever is elected to serve the people as government, we need a strong opposition to keep their feet to the fire.”

Jean also took his visit as an opportunity to introduce the newest contender to the Grande Prairie-Wapiti riding, Wildrose candidate Laila Goodridge.
