GP Catholic students present new home to family in Fairview

A Fairview family has a new home.

Habitat for Humanity and students from St. Thomas More Catholic School handed the keys over to a family in need this morning, thanks to the largest donation ever made by an organization.

Over a year and a half, staff and students across Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools raised more than $126,000 through multicultural fairs, dances, and auctions.

Up to $100,000 is needed for materials and labour.

A home is also being built for a family in need in El Salvador.
