A fire advisory has been issued for the Grande Prairie Wildfire Management Area.
The wildfire hazard is high, as there are strong winds in the forecast this weekend.
Residents are asked to be extra careful when doing any burning, and no new permits will be issues unless they’re for burn barrels.
Campfires are still allowed in campgrounds and other back country areas.
