UPDATE: Fire fighters battling flames in Richmond Industrial Park

UPDATE #2: Power now out in Richmond Industrial Park area due to the fire. It will be restored once ATCO Electric has been given the all clear.

UPDATE: Businesses surrounding the fire at Convoy Construction Materials have been evacuated due to the smoke. One south of the building has been evacuated as there is a slight risk of a structure collapse that could affect it.

Emergency crews are currently on scene at a major structure fire in the Richmond Industrial Park.

The blaze is in the area of 112 Street, between 84 Street and 89 Street.

RCMP say on lookers are making it difficult for emergency crews to work and would ask that the public leave the area.
