Aquatera says it’s customers shouldn’t be alarmed if they notice an earthy smell or taste in their drinking water this spring.
The smell happens at this time every year an is a result of a spring melt in the mountains.
Aquatera says they are aggressively focused on minimizing the odor and say it likely won’t last long.
If you want to try and reduce the smell of your water, you can run your taps a little long, leave it to sit in a pitcher, or use lemon or ginger in your water to reduce smells.
