Man wanted for convenience store robbery

Grande Prairie RCMP is on the hunt for a man suspected of robbing a convenience store early Tuesday morning.

At roughly 2:30 a.m. on April 7th, the suspect demanded money from clerk at the the Mac’s Convenience Store on 84th Avenue.

He was scared off by a vehicle coming into the parking lots and was last seen running towards Ranchlands apartments.

The man is described as Aboriginal and 5’8″, wearing a baseball cap, a black hoodie, and jeans with a black bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
