Team Canada wins world men’s curling bronze

Team Canada has won bronze at the World Men’s Curling Championship.

The rink, skipped by Pat Simmons, also features Grande Prairie native Carter Rycroft throwing second stones and local Tom Sallows as alternate.

They defeated Finland 8-4 for the medal.

Although the team went in looking for gold, the finish is an improvement over last year, when they missed the podium with skip Kevin Koe.
