Grande Prairie RCMP has released more details about an aggravated assault that sent a 45 year old man to hospital with serious injuries.
An argument started outside the Mac’s Convenience Store at 9701 84th Avenue around 9 p.m. Thursday between the two men who did not know each other.
The victim is currently in critical condition at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, while the suspect was found and arrested later that night.
He has been identified as 24 year old Kyle Douglas Giroux of Grande Prairie, and is facing charges of aggravated assault and failure to comply with a probation order.
His next court date is April 8th.
