Three arrests linked to thefts in Peace River

Peace Regional RCMP has arrested three people believed to be connected with more than $150,000 worth of stolen property.

35 year old Mark Pelletier was arrested on April 1st after the gate of the Peace River Ford compound was found rammed and off its hinges.

An investigation led police to find a stolen Ford truck and other stolen property, including another stolen vehicle and a snowmobile.

The next day, two more stolen vehicles were found and 32 year old Rebecca Lund and 37 year old Kelly Wenzel were taken into custody.

Many Peace River residents have reported vehicles stolen or rummaged through over the last few nights, and RCMP has linked those arrested.

Much of the stolen property has been returned to its owners, but police are still looking to find more.
