An 18-month sentence has been handed down for the stabbing of a 27 year old male in Cadotte Lake.
The morning of May 5th last year, police found the victim with serious injuries, needing transport by STARS Air Ambulance to Grande Prairie.
Shane Williams, who was 28 at the time, was charged with aggravated assault, and received the sentence, along with a 10 year firearms ban, in Peace River court last week.
Cadotte Lake is a small community roughly 90 kilometres north east of the town.
