Grande Prairie City Councillor Rory Tarant will be representing the Alberta Party in the upcoming provincial election.
Tarant is set to announce his nomination in the Grande Prairie-Wapiti riding Saturday afternoon at the Community Knowledge Campus.
The life-long Swan City resident has a bachelors of Political Science from the University of Lethbridge and a Diploma in University Studies from Grande Prairie Regional College.
He was elected city councillor in the fall of 2013.
