15 year old Shelby MacKinnon has been missing since March 12th, and although she hasn’t been in contact with her parents, police believe she has been active on social media sites.
She may be posing as an adult, which RCMP says could be a risk to her safety.
MacKinnon was last seen leaving home and possibly heading to Peace Wapiti Academy.
She may have also travelled to the Fort McMurray area.
MacKinnon is described as Caucasian, 5’6″, 135 lbs, with blue green eyes and shoulder length brown hair.
She also has braces and a nose piercing, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a hoodie.
Staff Sergeant Kyle Palfy says MacKinnon’s family gets more worried about her the longer she is missing, and anyone who may have been in contact with her is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
