PWSD school modernization projects making progress

While the Peace Wapiti School Division waits to hear when construction on their new Whispering Ridge K-8 school will begin, work on three other schools is coming along.

Ground work and a hallway link have been added to the north end of the Teepee Creek School in preparation for two new modular classrooms.

Work has also started on renovating the school’s office, washrooms, gym, and existing classrooms.

Two modular classrooms are nearly ready for use at the Clairmont Community School, and pre-construction work has begun for what will eventually replace R.W. Zahara in Sexsmith.
