Man wanted for robbery arrested in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP has arrested a man wanted in connection with a robbery earlier this month.

Several guns were stolen from a home on March 5th, and there was evidence that a firearm was discharged inside as well.

28 year old Ryan Hynes was found in a home in the area of 72nd Avenue and Poplar Drive that police surrounded early Sunday evening.

Michael James Cook, who was wanted on Canada-wide warrants, and a 26 year old woman wanted on outstanding warrants in Ontario were also arrested at the scene.

She has since been released without charges, while the two men have a bail hearing set for later today.
