A wind warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview region with strong winds that could cause damage.
Environment Canada says an intense low pressure system north of the area will mean strong westerly winds in Grande Prairie Saturday.
60 kilometre and hour winds gusting up to 90 kilometres an hour will start near the noon hour and continue through the afternoon, dying down in the evening.
