A 45 year old Grande Prairie man was killed while crossing the street at 84th Ave and Mission Heights Drive Sunday evening.
RCMP say they were called to the scene shortly after 8:30 pm.
The man was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries after arriving.
Police say he was trying to cross at an uncontrolled area of the road about 60 metres west of the actual intersection.

He was also wearing all black at the time.
Speed, drugs, and alcohol have been ruled out as factors.
No charges are being laid against the driver.
