Three of four NWJHL quarterfinals swept so far

The Fairview Flyers and North Peace Navigators were both successful in sweeping their NWJHL quarterfinals Wednesday night, knocking both the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks and Beaverlodge Blades out of the playoffs.

The Flyers beat the Canucks 2-1, while the Navs topped the Blades 12-2.

The Grande Prairie JDA Kings already swept their series against the Sexsmith Vipers, so the wait is on to see if the Fort St. John Huskies will sweep the Slave Lake Wolves in their third game Saturday.
