Peace region residents interested in learning more about where they come from now have access to a top-rated genealogical resource.
A free online program called Ancestry Library Edition is now available through the Peace Library System at 45 public and 50 school libraries across the region.
It’s an extension of ancestry.com, which helps users get started looking at their family tree, using more than 60 million Canadian documents like censuses and immigration records.
Anyone interested in learning more is encouraged to visit their local library.
