Peace Region students wear pink to stand up against bullying

Staff and students at schools across the Peace region are wearing pink today as a commitment to creating a bully-free community.

Pink Shirt Day is celebrated across the country as a national anti-bullying campaign.

It was inspired by two Nova Scotian teens who stood up for a younger student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to class.

The children will also be participating in anti-bullying activities.
