Bingo is making a spring comeback in Grande Prairie

The Grande Bingo Society is planning to have bingo back in Grande Prairie by sometime this spring.

The old private operation shut down in November 1023, but the society is now working on agreement that would see them re-locate to the ANAVETS hall in Hillside.

Bingo Society President Tina Finch says it’s something that the community has been missing.

“There’s many people asking if bingo is coming back to Grande Prairie, and it’s not just for seniors. Bingo, nowadays, is for groups who are looking to go out for entertainment and socializing. Everybody enjoys bingo.”

Finch says once they have their re-location license approved by the AGLC, they hope to have the necessary renovation completed and ready for opening by April.
