Already enforcement services in Grande Prairie have handed out nearly a hundred tickets for distracted driving violations.
This month RCMP in particular is looking cracking down on those drivers not giving 100 per cent of their attention to the road.
A Joint Forces Operation at the corner of Resources Road and 100 Ave last Friday saw a total of 17 violations handed out during a two hour period.
The fine for being caught driving while distracted is $172.
