All three Peace region MLAs will be representing the PC Alberta Party in the next provincial election.
Everett McDonald has been acclaimed as the candidate for Grande Prairie – Smoky, after no other nominations were entered by Saturday.
He joins Wayne Drysdale in GP – Wapiti and Frank Oberle in Peace River.
There have been rumours that an early election will be called this spring, and the Progressive Conservative Party has opened up candidate nominations in 74 of 87 constituencies.

In Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley, Hector Goudreau has said he will not run again, so a tentative vote has been set for March 15th.
