Lauzon leaving behind head coach position with Wolves Volleyball

After 11 years with the GPRC Wolves Men’s Volleyball team, head coach Mike Lauzon is stepping down.

Lauzon has coached in some capacity for the team since 2004, before taking the head coach mantle in 2007.

He says he’d like to take time to concentrate on his family and career after becoming Principal for Sexsmith Secondary this year, though he says he will continue to work on developing the school’s volleyball program.

In 2013 Lauzon helped lead the Wolves volleyball teams to a gold medal sweep at the Canada Summer Games in Sherbrook Quebec, for which he went on to receive the GPRC Alumni Award of Excellence in 2014.
