A freezing rain warning is still in effect for the Grande Prairie and Peace River regions this morning.
Patchy freezing rain will continue before heading southeast and tapering off.
A second, more intense wave of freezing rain is also anticipated to start again this afternoon, again heading towards the southeast of the province, tapering off this evening.
All Peace Wapiti School Division buses have been cancelled as a result.
