A freezing rain warning has been issued for the Alberta Peace region.
It’s expected to start in the Grande Prairie and Peace River area after midnight, and then spread towards Whitecourt before heading southeast.
A second, more intense wave of freezing rain is also anticipated to start again Friday afternoon, again heading towards the southeast of the province.
