Grande Prairie man travelling with stolen truck arrested in Manitoba

A Grande Prairie man reportedly travelling cross country in a stolen truck has been arrested by RCMP in Manitoba.

Police in Brandon, Manitoba say they were tipped off on February 7 about 21 year old James Gardiner, who they say was planning to stop at a home in the nearby community of Wawanesa.

Police were able to locate the stolen truck at the home later that night, and took Gardiner into custody.

He has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and for breaching recognizance.
