One pleads guilty, sentenced to 30 days following downtown drug bust

Two men facing charges after a substantial drug bust in Grande Prairie last week have been identified by police.

30 year old Glenn Baker and 34 year old Dean Stafford were both arrested during a raid on an apartment above Breakers Sports Lounge on February 4.

Charges of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and three firearms offences were handed to Baker.

Stafford, meanwhile, has plead guilty to possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

A charge of possession of property obtained by crime was subsequently withdrawn.

Police seized 1062 fentynal pills, 238g of cocaine, 182 oxycodone pulls, 58g of crystal meth, 7g marijuana, four guns including a loaded hand gun, cash, and stolen ID during the bust.
