Grande Prairie man arrested for shooting pellet gun at vehicles

RCMP has taken a 22 year old male into custody after he was reportedly shooting a pellet gun at vehicles on Highway 43 west of Grande Prairie early Tuesday morning.

The first report came into police from a man who said a vehicle pulled up next to his and damaged his window as it drove away.

At least four vehicles were damaged, and a female driver was hit in the head and needed medical attention.

A vehicle was stopped near Debolt, and a pellet gun was found by a police dog discarded along the highway.

Fadi Korkis is now facing charges of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Mischief under $5,000, Assault with a Weapon and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

His bail hearing is set for February 6th.
