For the second year in a row, Alberta’s Kelsey Rocque will be representing Canada at the World Junior Curling Championships.
Rocque beat Ontario’s Chelsea Brandwood 8-2 in the Saturday night final at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland.
The Edmonton based curler and her team earned their berth for the national tournament here in Grande Prairie at the Provincial Junior Curling Championships in early January.
Rocque is now one of four women to win back to back National Junior Curling titles.
She and her team are now headed to Tallinn, Estonia at the end of the month for the world’s.
Last year Rocque won the World title with an entirely different team of players, and will look to claim that title once more before she moves on from the junior level.
