Suspected serial bank robber arrested in Grande Prairie

RCMP K Division has arrested the man believed to be responsible for nine bank robberies across Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan in Grande Prairie.

The 26 year old male was captured at a motel in the area of 109th Street and 100th Avenue at approximately 2:30 this afternoon.

No injuries were sustained.

His most recent target was a financial institution in Dawson Creek, B.C. Wedesday afternoon.

The man has no fixed address and is being held in police custody.

His name, charges, and first court date have not yet been released.
