Alberta NDP bringing provincial budget tour to Grande Prairie

The Alberta New Democrats will be touring the province over the next month, with a stop in Grande Prairie on February 12th.

Leader Rachel Notley says they’re looking to hear from residents on their top budget priorities, especially with the low price of oil.

She’ll be at Centre 2000 from 1 to 3 p.m. to speak with the public.

There has been speculation that Premier Jim Prentice will call a spring election after the budget is tabled at the end of March.

After Liberal Leader Raj Sherman announced his resignation earlier this week, all four parties will have different leaders than the last provincial election.
