Stolen vehicle in Mountie shooting linked to Grande Prairie

Metro News is reporting that the shooting of two Mounties in St. Albert on January 17 has a link to Grande Prairie.

The stolen truck in the casino parking lot that Constables Wynn and Bond were investigating reportedly belongs to a couple from the Swan City.

Donna Campbell says their Ford F-350 was stolen during a trip to Edmonton back in October, and that she had never expected to see the vehicle again.

The two Mounties were shot by Shawn Maxwell Rehn.
