The last remaining leader of an Alberta political party to be present during the most recent election is stepping down.
Liberal Leader Raj Sherman has announced that he is resigning from his position.
The Edmonton-Meadowlark MLA has led the party since 2011.
Two members of the PC caucus announced this morning that they too will be leaving the Alberta legislature.

Battle River-Wainwright MLA Doug Griffiths resigned from his seat earlier this morning, while Red Deer-North MLA Mary Anne Jablonski has announced that will not be seeking re-election.
