A 41 year old woman is recovering in hospital after being hit by a vehicle downtown this morning.
The pedestrian was walking through the eastbound crosswalk on 99th Avenue and 102nd Street, when she was struck by a vehicle turning left from 99th onto 102nd.
She was taken by ambulance with undetermined injuries.
The 52 year old female Beaverlodge driver has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and been fined $575.
