Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the Peace River, Fairview, High Prairie, and Manning region.
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected, with gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour in parts of northwestern Alberta.
They’re expected to continue through the afternoon.
There may be damage to buildings, like roof shingles and windows, and loose objects may be thrown by the wind.
Drivers should take extra caution.
