Teddy Bear Toss to headline busy Storm weekend

The Grande Prairie Storm will be hosting a pair of games this weekend that many fans will have circled on their calendars.

Friday night against the Brooks Bandits, those in attendance will get a $100 gift card from Kal-Tire if they bring in food or monetary donations which will benefit the Grande Prairie foodbank. All cash donations will also be matched dollar for dollar by Kal-Tire.

Saturday will see the annual Teddy Bear Toss take place after the first Storm goal scored against the visiting Lloydminister Bobcats. Lululemon will be on-site to hand out bears who for those who don’t bring their own from home. All bears collected on the ice will be handed over to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation to be handed out to children.

Puck drop for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.
