News New Horizon Co-op hoping to say goodbye to hunger with annual campaign SHARE ON: Emma Mason, contributor, Friday, Nov. 29th, 2019 The co-op on 100 Avenue (Emma Mason, MyGrandePrairieNow.com staff) The New Horizon Co-op grocery store in Grande Prairie is asking people to help say goodbye to hunger. It has kicked off their annual Good Buy to Hunger Campaign which sees people purchase pre-made bags of non-perishable food items at the till. The bags are then delivered to food banks, soup kitchens, and school snack programs in the area. The store has committed to match customer’s Good Buy to Hunger bag purchases and donations up to $10,000. Last year, the Campaign raised $42,000.
