The Beaverlodge Fire Department, along with the Beaverlodge Alliance Church Youth Group will be collecting for those in need, with a twist.
Starting at 6 p.m. on December 2nd, the sirens of the fire trucks will sound, and crews of volunteers will be going street by street to gather as much as they can for the Beaverlodge Food Bank and Christmas Hamper program.
Organizers say they’ll take any non-perishable item, but they’re in need of a few items more than others, including canned meat, canned vegetables, pasta, canned soup and Kraft Dinner.
If you miss out on the door to door donation drive, donations will be accepted at the Beaverlodge Town Office, as well as various businesses around town.
