Government looking for feedback on power project in MD of Greenview

The government wants to know how people feel about a proposed power plant located in the MD of Greenview. The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada is looking for feedback from the public and Indigenous groups on the proposed Prairie Lights Power Project.

Prairie Lights Power GP is looking to build and run a 360-megawatt natural gas-fired power generation facility 35 kilometres south of the city.

The comments received will be used by the agency to create a list of possible concerns that will be shared with Prairie Lights power. Written comments in either official language will be accepted online until December 12, 2019.
