Fire Service looking for photos to help in elevator fire investigation

What sparked the blaze that destroyed one of Sexsmith’s remaining grain elevators Tuesday night is still under investigation.

The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service is hoping the public can help, by sending in any photos or videos they may have from the west side of the elevator during the early stages of the fire.

The Fire Department got the call around 7:30 p.m. on January 13th, and by the time crews arrived on the scene, it was too late to save the landmark.

Anyone with media to send is asked to email it to [email protected].
