A Slave Lake man has been sentenced to 15 years in jail for the 2017 death of a man in Atikameg. Blake Anderson was charged with second-degree murder but plead to a lesser charge of manslaughter in a Peace River courtroom on November 4th.

32-year-old Jeff Gladue’s body was found at a home on the settlement about an hour outside of High Prairie on January 14th when High Prairie RCMP responded to reports of shots fired.

Then 21-year-old Anderson was also given a lifetime firearms ban.
