Holocaust survivor Dr. Eva Olsson will be in Grande Prairie on Thursday night for a talk on the power of hate and the need to stop it wherever it occurs.
The free public event will include a slide show of Olsson’s life, which she has painstakingly retraced back to the Auschwitz concentration camp. She will delve into what she calls “the importance of not being a bystander when bad things are happening,”
The Order of Ontario Award winner will also be visiting several schools in the Peace Wapiti Public School Division throughout the week. The public event will take place at the Pomeroy Hotel on October 24th at 7 p.m.
