River of Death and Discovery Dinosaur Museum Society names new board chair

The River of Death and Discovery Dinosaur Museum Society has named a new Chair of the Board. Linda Waddy has taken over the role of Chair of the Board, replacing Linda Side.

Waddy comes into the position with over 15 years of experience in finance and management working in over a million square feet of commercial office space in Calgary.

“This is an exciting time for the dinosaur museum as we move into our fifth year of operation. I am looking forward to working with the Board and Administration to take this wonderful regional tourism attraction to the next level,” Waddy says.

Waddy was initially named to the board by the County of Grande Prairie in November 2017. The not-for-profit society oversees the operation of the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.
