There is a freezing rain warning in effect this morning for most of the Peace Region, including Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, Peace River, Fairview, Manning, High Prairie, Whitecourt, Fox Creek, and Edson.

An area of freezing rain is expected to begin this morning over northwestern Alberta and end later this afternoon.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
