Edmonton company buys RioCan Centre for $54.8 M

An Edmonton-based real estate investment company has bought the RioCan Centre in Grande Prairie. On October 10th, Melcor REIT announced it had purchased the centre for $54.8 million.

The 33.3-acre site at 108th Street and 100th Avenue is occupied by 29 tenants including RONA, London Drugs and a Cineplex Odeon Cinema.

The complex was built between 1997 and 2006.
