Nominations are now open for The Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau’s Volunteer of the Year Awards.
Nominees could be part of a single project that had made a significant impact on the operations of a non-profit, or it could also be for recognizing a continuous, long term dedication to an organization.
“We want to recognize the impact of the shorter term volunteers,” says Carol-Anne Pasemko, Executive Director of the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau.
“There are other awards for recognition of a lifetime of involvement, but many volunteers appear out of nowhere and make a contribution that significantly benefits their chosen organizations,” she adds.
The deadline for nominations is November 4th, and you can nominate forms on the GPVSB’s website.
