Less than a week after two big speakers were announced for this year’s Mighty Peace Day, the hosts of the event have been revealed.
Grande Prairie’s own Ryan Blais and Tenille will be leading the day, which will be attended by more than 3000 students from around the region.
Tenille is a CCMA Award Winning country music singer who is a huge advocate of positive youth leadership.
Ryan Blais has represented Grande Prairie and Canada as a freestyle skier, and has since founded the Come Fly With Me Foundation, which provides financial assistance for developing athletes from Grande Prairie.
Mighty Peace Day is a day of inspiration and gratitude for youth in the region who have committed their time over the past year to bettering their community.
The event is set for February 10 at Revolution Place.
