RCMP find stolen items in a stuck truck

Police found a number of stolen items, as well as tools used for break-ins inside a suspicious vehicle Sunday.

A complaint was made early in the morning hours about a suspicious vehicle near outside a business on 110 St and 84 Ave.

Mounties found the incriminating items during a search of the vehicle, which was stuck in the snow.

43 year old Timothy Ferguson of Grande Prairie has been charged with 4 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, two counts of Break and Enter, Possessing Instruments for Breaking and Entering, Mischief, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

He will make his first court appearance on January 14.

Last year, he plead guilty to two charges of possession of stolen property, and was given two nine month sentences, much of which had already been served.

Anyone whose vehicle has recently been broken into while parked in the South Richmond Industrial Park, reported or not, should contact RCMP.
