Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association names new executive director

The Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association has named a new executive director. Terry Dow took over the role from James Leppan on October 2nd. Dow says she’s excited to get to work.

“I take a collaborative approach to promoting a region and place a high priority on creating partnerships, encouraging innovation and emphasizing the importance of tourism in the community.”

“This is a beautiful and diverse region and I can’t wait to work with the board, our partners, and local communities to showcase and develop the tourism potential that exists throughout the area in all seasons,” she adds.

Dow brings more than 25 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, sales and leadership from places in southern Ontario and Northern Saskatchewan, most recently as the Executive Director of the Waskesiu and Area Wilderness Region.
