New pediatrician now working in Grande Prairie

A new pediatrician is now practising in the Grande Prairie area. Doctor Salam Al-Jubouri came to the area in September and will provide care at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital and be based out of the Grande Banks Medical Clinic.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Doctor Al-Jubouri to the community. There are many patients in Grande Prairie and area who will benefit from his skills,” says hospital Facility Medical Director Doctor James Pope.

Al-Jubouri becomes the sixth pediatrician in the city and was brought here as part of Alberta Health Service’s plan to increase local access to specialized medical care for infants, children and youth.
